NBC News did a segment on tactics thieves are using to premeditate criminal activity using hidden cameras placed to track resident movements and schedules. This is a great reminder that utilizing our own security cameras and smart doorbells, maintaining outdoor lighting and visibility, as well as knowing your neighbors are some of the best ways to thwart criminal activity. We should not live in a state of fear, but we can be proactive about creating a safe environment where we live.
